A mobile detailing business does not have a front desk
The work moves all day. One job may be a retail customer in a driveway and the next may be six vehicles at a dealership. When the job details live in texts, the approval lives in a phone call and the invoice gets rebuilt at night, the paperwork becomes a second shift.
Underhood Go keeps the customer or dealer account, vehicle, requested work, authorization and billing in one phone-first flow. The goal is not to turn detailing into a repair-order operation. It is to stop re-entering the same job after the work is already finished.
A field workflow that starts at the vehicle
- 1
Create the job while you are standing beside the car
Record the vehicle, services, notes and price before the details disappear into a text thread or a paper route sheet.
- 2
Keep retail and dealer work organized by account
A retail customer stays a customer; recurring dealership work stays grouped under the dealer instead of becoming a pile of unrelated records.
- 3
Capture approval when the scope changes
If pet hair, staining, paint contamination or another condition changes the job, send an approval link or capture an on-site signature before doing the added work.
- 4
Invoice from the field
Close the job from the same device instead of reconstructing the day from memory after the route is over.
- 5
Send a payment link
For retail work, send secure online payment through your own Stripe or Square account. Underhood does not hold the funds.
Where Underhood Go fits a detailing operation
- Phone-first job creation instead of a desktop-first office workflow.
- Customer and dealership accounts in the same system.
- Vehicle-level services and pricing kept with the work they belong to.
- Approval links and on-site signatures for changes in scope.
- Invoices and online payments without a separate end-of-day re-entry process.
- One $29/month business price with the first month free.
What it is not trying to be
Underhood Go is not currently a route optimizer, consumer self-booking marketplace or automated SMS marketing platform. If those are the center of your operation, a detailing-specific scheduling platform may be a better fit. Go is strongest when the problem is keeping the actual vehicle work, approvals, dealer accounts, invoices and payments organized from the field.
